IOB SO Exam Date 2026 Out : Indian Overseas Bank has announced the exam date for the Generalist and Specialist Officer posts. The online exam will be on 31st October 2026, Saturday. The bank has released notification for 291 vacancies of Advt. No. HRDD/RECT/04/2026-27.

IOB SO Exam Date 2026 is 31st October 2026 and the exam is written in the computer online. It will be organized at different exam centres in all over India. IOB released the SO admit card on 20th October 2026 aproximately. That was 10days before the exam date. If it is the same this time, the admit card can come around 20th October 2026.

IOB SO Exam Pattern 2026
The online exam has 100 questions and you get 2 hours of time. For the Generalist Officer (Branch Management) post, there are 25 questions of English and 75 questions of Professional Knowledge. For all the other posts, there are 25 questions of English, 25 of General Awareness (Banking) and 50 of Professional Knowledge questions.
For every wrong answer, one fourth of the marks is deducted. In the exam must got 35% marks for unreserved candidtes, and 30% marks for reserved category applicants. After the exam, the bank will call you for the interview and document verification.
